Equitable Education:
Building Bridges to Opportunity
We believe that education is the gateway to empowerment and integration. Our Equitable Education programs are co-designed to unlock the potential within each individual, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and achievement. We address the educational disparities that often hinder BIPOC and low-income communities from reaching their full potential by providing tailored learning experiences—from early childhood programs that celebrate cultural diversity, to K-12 education programs that pave the way for college and career success. Our initiatives support parent engagement, school connections, language acquisition, cultural adaptation, and professional development, creating a foundation for lifelong success.
SPACE Project
SPACE Project – Our SPACE (Schools, Parents and Communities Engaged) program works with school-aged children, parents and school staff including leadership bridge opportunity gaps existing for students of color.
We provide in-school student and out of school counseling, tutoring and mentoring for students in middle and high schools. We offer transportation to students and families as well as opportunities for extra curricular activities. We build the parents and schools’ capacities to engage each other for a positive school culture and sustained students’ success.
CONNECT
CONNECT (Cultivating Opportunities, Nurturing New Experiences and Creating Tomorrow’s) Leaders Youth Project focuses on the five core SEL competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
The CONNECT project provides students with essential life skills, such as effective communication, decision-making, financial literacy, and engaging in community service among others. By fostering a sense of connection to their schools and community through leadership events and carefully designed topics and social activities, the project aims to help students develop a sense of belonging and empowerment.
